Zoom Settings for Cloud Recording

  • These settings can be found under your Zoom profile (zoom.us) and then under Settings and Recording (see the image to the side).
  • The settings below are the ones to use for your recording to look best in Panopto especially if you use lots of screen sharing.  This will have the talking head and the screen share in separate windows so that you can move these around as needed when playing back in Panopto.  The timestamp setting is optional and the “Record thumbnails when sharing” can be selected if you plan to use recordings a bunch outside of Panopto.
  • Adjust these settings and hit Save.
