Access to Network Storage and Google Drive

Amazon Appstream has access to the network storage drives and Google Drive in the file explorer.  If you create a file while using Appstream and save it to your network storage the file will be accessible later.  

Network Storage Access

  1. Select File Explorer
  2. Select "This PC", on the left side of the File Explorer window, to display available Network Drives

Google Drive Access

Once in Appstream, users may link their Google Drive to Appstream by follow the steps below.

  1. Click on "My Files" in the top white menu bar
  2. Next click on "Add Storage" at the top right of the My Files window. 
  3. Click on "Google Drive" and follow the prompts to sign into Google Drive.

Once Google Drive has been added you can access it in File Explorer.

Amazon AppStream is available as a service for all faculty, staff, and students to access EMU Apps anywhere, anytime, and from any device, including personal computers.  Click on an app and sign in with your ROYALS username and password to get started.  Network storage is accessible from within AppStream apps.
