Customizing Your Microsoft Teams Profile Picture

You can update your Teams profile picture easily whether you’re on desktop, iOS, or Android.

Follow the steps below based on your device:

💻 On Desktop (Windows or Mac)

  1. Open Microsoft Teams and click your current profile picture in the top-right corner.
  2. In the account manager window that appears, click your profile picture again.
  3. You’ll see two options:
  4. Upload 📤 to choose a new photo from your device
  5. Remove 🗑️ to delete the current picture
  6. After selecting your new image, click Save to apply the changes.

📱 On iOS (iPhone/iPad)

  1. Open the Teams app and tap your profile picture or initials at the top left.
  2. Tap your name to open your profile settings.
  3. Tap Update photo or Edit:
  4. You can take a new photo using your camera
  5. Or choose one from your photo library
  6. Once updated, Teams will show a confirmation message.

🤖 On Android

  1. Tap the More menu (☰), then tap your profile picture.
  2. Alternatively, go to Settings > Profile.
  3. Tap Edit image or Edit.
  4. You’ll be prompted with several options:
  5. Open photo library
  6. Camera
  7. View photo
  8. Remove photo
  9. Just choose the one that fits your need, and your new photo will be applied.
