Chatting During a Meeting in Teams

Similar to Zoom's chat tool, Teams also offers an integrated chat feature that lets users chat throughout a meeting. This is how to utilize it.

Steps to Chat During a Teams Meeting:

  1. During the meeting, click on the Chat button located in the meeting toolbar.

  2. Type your message in the chat box and hit Enter to send it.

  3. You can also send files and images in the chat, just as you can in Zoom’s chat.

Like Zoom's chat function, which saves communications for later use, Teams allows users to access the conversation history after the meeting concludes.
