How To Create An Encrypted PDF

1. If the file is not already a pdf, open in application used to create the file. You can then either "Save As" or "Print to PDF" to create the pdf file.
2. Open the file in Acrobat Reader.
3. File>Password Protect
   
   
4. Now that you have a password protected pdf, you can securely send that to the recipient. They will need the password to access the pdf. This should be communicated in a secure method. A phone call is recommended. Do not email or text the password.
