Accessing InfoMaker on an EMU Windows Computer

Caveats

You much complete the steps to setup Jenzabar on an EMU computer before configuring Infomaker.

You need a license to use Infomaker.

First - Run the InfoMaker Configuration Tool

  1. Select IM Config Tool in the Go Menu
  2. In the InfoMaker Configuration Tool, click on the optional tab.
  3. On the Optional tab, click "Created Shared Profiles" and then the "Recommended tab.
  4. On the Recommended tab click "Apply All Settings" if not grayed out. Then click the Close button.

Using InfoMaker

  1. Once you have finished running the InfoMaker Tool, launch InfoMaker from the Jenzabar Go Menu or by searching for InfoMaker (EMU RemoteApps) in the Windows Start Menu.
  2. You will be prompted to log in to an InfoMaker session. Click on the Activate button.
  3. You now need to sign in using your EMU email address and InfoMaker license password. Notice the reset password link if you do not remember your license password. You will want to check both auto login at startup (so you do not need to enter your InfoMaker license password every time you use InfoMaker) and Sign out on exit (to free up your license to use on another computer).
  4. Once logged into InfoMaker, click the "DB Profile" button.
  5. Click the plus sign next to ODB ODBC to expand this node. Select J1 Production (Shared). Click the Connect button.
  6. Once connected to a database, click on the Library button. Note that the InfoMaker Libraries are now in D:\EMU\Jenzabar\Additional Reports on the Jenzabar Cloud.
  7. Find the PBL that you want to work with and set it as the working library.
  8. Open or create the report or query.
