No Audio During Calls 

If callers cannot hear you, or you cannot hear them:

  1. Open Settings > Devices.
  2. Verify the correct speaker is selected.
  3. Verify the correct microphone is selected.
  4. Perform a test call.
  5. Reconnect any USB or Bluetooth headset.

Missed Calls 

If calls are not ringing:

  • Verify Teams notifications are enabled.
  • Check your Teams status.
  • Review forwarding settings.
  • Confirm device volume is turned on.

Sign Out and Sign Back In 

Many Teams issues can be resolved by signing out and back in.

  1. Select your profile picture.
  2. Select Sign Out.
  3. Close Teams completely.
  4. Reopen Teams.
  5. Sign in using your EMU account.

When to Contact IT 

Contact the IT Help Desk if:

  • Calls continue failing after troubleshooting.
  • Audio devices are not detected.
  • Voicemail never arrives.
  • Teams repeatedly signs you out.
  • Emergency location information is incorrect.
