Sign In 

☐ Signed in to the phone using your EMU account
☐ Completed Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) if prompted
☐ Verified your name appears on the phone

How to Sign In 

  1. Select Sign In on the phone.
  2. A pairing code will appear.
  3. On a computer, navigate to https://aka.ms/siplogin
  4. Enter the code displayed on the phone.
  5. Sign in with your EMU account.
  6. Complete any MFA prompts.
  7. Wait for the phone to finish syncing.

Phone Settings 

☐ Configured voicemail greeting
☐ Verified voicemail is accessible
☐ Configured notification preferences
☐ Adjusted ringer volume to your preference
☐ Verified date and time are correct

How to Configure Voicemail

  1. Select Calls.
  2. Select Voicemail.
  3. Follow the prompts to record your greeting.
  4. Save your greeting when finished.

How to Configure Notifications

  1. Select your profile picture.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select Notifications.
  4. Adjust missed call, voicemail, and meeting notifications as desired.

How to Adjust Ringer Volume

  1. Press the Volume Up or Volume Down buttons on the side of the phone while it is idle.
  2. Confirm the ringtone volume is at a comfortable level.

Call Testing 

☐ Made a test call to a coworker
☐ Received a test call
☐ Tested speakerphone functionality
☐ Tested mute functionality
☐ Tested call transfer functionality
☐ Tested voicemail functionality

How to Make a Test Call

  1. Select Calls.

  2. Enter a coworker's name or phone number.
  3. Place the call and verify audio quality.

How to Transfer a Call

  1. During an active call, select More.
  2. Select Transfer.
  3. Search for the person receiving the call.
  4. Select their name to complete the transfer.

How to Check Voicemail

  1. Select Calls.
  2. Select Voicemail.
  3. Select a message to listen.

Presence Status

☐ Verified Teams status is displaying correctly (Available, Busy, Away, etc.)

How to Change Your Status

  1. Select your profile picture.
  2. Select your current status.
  3. Choose the desired status.

Call Forwarding

☐ Reviewed call forwarding options
☐ Confirmed call forwarding is configured correctly

How to Configure Call Forwarding

  1. Select your profile picture.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select Calling.
  4. Configure forwarding options as needed.

Do Not Disturb

How to Enable Do Not Disturb

  1. Select your profile picture.
  2. Select your status.
  3. Select Do Not Disturb.

Favorites / Speed Dial

☐ Added frequently contacted co workers to favorites

How to Add a Favorite

  1. Open Calls.
  2. Search for the contact.
  3. Select the contact.
  4. Choose Add to Favorites.

Business Hours

☐ Verified business hours are configured correctly

How to Set Business Hours

  1. Select your Profile Picture.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Select Calling.
  4. Select Manage Business Hours.
  5. Set your normal working hours for each day of the week.
  6. Select Save.

Out of Office

☐ Verified Out of Office settings are configured correctly

How to Set Out of Office

  1. Select your Profile Picture.
  2. Select Set Status Message.
  3. Select Schedule Out of Office.
  4. Enable automatic replies.
  5. Enter your Out of Office message.
  6. Select a start and end date if desired.
  7. Select Save.
